| containers:Docking Station was a special exhibition space in the (temporary) Stedelijk Museum CS near the harbour of Amsterdam; every six weeks the space gave room to a different up-and-coming artist. To reflect this dynamic and special status of this space within the museum Niessen & de Vries decided to use the entrance of the exhibition space to visualize both what had been shown earlier and what was still to come: a context for the individual exhibitions. They did so by devising a system inspired by industrial containers. |
